Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the purchase and use of our tutoring packages and lessons. By engaging in business with Nexio Tutoring LLC, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Definitions

  • Client: The individual or entity purchasing the tutoring services.

  • Tutor: The individual providing the tutoring services.

  • Services: Tutoring sessions, resources, and support provided by Nexio Tutoring LLC. 

  • Package: A predefined set of tutoring sessions or hours purchased by the Client.

3. Package Details

  • Packages include a specific number of tutoring sessions of 1 hour duration as outlined at the time of purchase.

  • All packages must be used within 6 months from the date of purchase, as indicated in the package details.

  • Unused sessions or hours will expire and cannot be carried over or refunded unless otherwise specified.

4. Payment

  • Full payment for the selected package is required at the time of booking.

  • Payment can be made via check, Zelle, or credit card.

5. Scheduling and Rescheduling

  • Sessions must be scheduled in advance and are subject to tutor availability.

  • Clients may reschedule a session with at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the session being charged in full.

  • Nexio Tutoring LLC reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, and will make a good faith effort to provide as much notice as possible.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • No refunds will be provided for unused sessions after the package has been purchased under any circumstances, unless Nexio Tutoring is no longer able to service the remaining contracted number of sessions, in which case a prorated refund will be provided to the customer.

7. Tutor Replacement

  • Nexio Tutoring LLC reserves the right to replace the assigned tutor with another qualified tutor if necessary. Clients may request a pro-rated refund (for sessions not completed)  in the case that they would not like to move forward with the replacement tutor, but must do so before completing a second tutoring session with the replacement tutor. 

  • Clients will be notified of any tutor changes and provided with the new tutor’s details.

8. Code of Conduct

  • Both tutors and clients are expected to maintain a respectful and professional relationship.

  • Any form of harassment, abuse, or misconduct will result in the immediate termination of services without refund.

9. Confidentiality

  • Nexio Tutoring LLC is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of clients.

  • All personal information and academic records shared will be used solely for the purpose of providing tutoring services and will not be disclosed to third parties without consent.

10. Liability

  • Nexio Tutoring LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

  • The maximum liability of Nexio Tutoring LLC for any claims related to the services will not exceed the amount paid by the client for the package.

11. Amendments

  • Nexio Tutoring LLC reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time.

  • Clients will be notified of any significant changes to these terms and conditions.

12. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York.

  • Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York.
